Heather Sellers

Heather is a professional artist born in the Midwest.  As a child, Heather was captivated by the art of glass blowing.  The skillful dance of fire and molten glass was something that never left her mind.  In 2005, Heather was introduced to the art of lampworking.  Heather has spent years designing beads, sharing knowledge and donating much of her work to charity.  In 2012, Heather’s designs were featured in a limited edition jewelry collection commissioned for Mary Engelbreit Studios.  2014 has been a busy year for Heather, her work was recently published in "1000 Beads" by Lark Publishing.  She was one of only ten artist chosen to create a limited edition bead for Beads of Courage.  The Design Challenge bead was unveiled at the 2014 Bead & Button Show, and will be published in a Beads of Courage book later this year. Currently, her flamework art titled "Looking Glass" is on display with the ISGB pOrtrait Exhibit.  She loves the challenge of developing and sharing techniques to simplify the art of flameworking.
