Nancy Pilgrim

Nancy Pilgrim has been flame-working glass since 1995.  Her artistic background led her to the field of hot glass where she has found her passion.  She is also a professional calligrapher, working and teaching since 1984.  Nancy continually experiments expanding her control and expression in flame worked glass beads.

Nancy has shown her work at many bead shows and juried art fairs across the country, including “Reflections”, a juried glass bead show in Scottsdale, Arizona;   Urban Glass in Brooklyn, New York, and exhibits in Japan and England.  She has been featured in two month long exhibits in 2004 and 2007 at the Chandler Center for the Arts Gallery in Chandler, Arizona.  Her work has been published in the Lapidary Journal, the cover of the 1997 Colored Stone Magazine, Glass Patterns Quarterly, Crafts Report and the 2003 April issue of Bead & Button Magazine.  Images of her beads and jewelry have been published in “Making Glass Beads” and “Beads of Glass” by Cindy Jenkins, “1000 Glass Beads” by Lark Books and on the cover of “Beadwork Collection” by Masako Saito.
