Gabrielle Van Buren
Gabrielle has been a teaching artist with Mesa Arts Center for almost 6 years. She has dedicated her life not only to theatre and film education, but also helping to grow theatre in the Valley, as the Major Gifts and Development Events Manager for Phoenix Theatre. As an Arizona State University graduate, she appeared in a variety of shows including House Where Nobody Lives and Angel City while completing her theatre major. Gabrielle has performed around the Valley and abroad with Phoenix Theatre's Hormel New Works Festival, Arizona Women's Theatre, Carefree Theatre Company and for The American Alliance of Theatre Education Conference in Vancouver B.C. She most recently appeared in Tribes at Phoenix Theatre this past February. Keeping her film credits up-to-date, she is currently shooting the 3rd season of the hilarious sci-fi web series, Voyage Trekkers. Theatre can unlock a child’s imagination, and Gabrielle feels it is a gift to work with youth as they discover the power and confidence performance can create.
